PT. Alter Trade Indonesia focuses on processing and exporting of monodon shrimp in Indonesia with a comprehensive monitoring and support for small-scale farmers and farming community. We aim to grow together with farmers to increase their capacity and livelihood while preserving ecosystem balance.
As our practices are natural, organic, and zero input, farms coexist with surrounding biodiversity which increases the volume of polyculture and mangrove coverage area. Farmers' groups, along with the company, conduct regular benthic assessments, river cleaning, and mangrove planting.
